Two cars usually means 10 passengers, It was an unusual journey, two drivers and 8 homeless people, actually taken directly from the street. What unfolded was five people, in each vehicle. While driving we sang Christmas carols, it was the Christmas season, and the snow was falling so hard that the cars were driving at a very slow pace, in such a procession of cars, and the windshield wipers could not keep up to sweep the snow. And we were singing more and more carols. A phone call to the other car – What are you singing? What are you singing, because we here can you hear us?  What was that singing!  What a squeeze there was in that car, but what singing! What singing! It’s been a long time since I heard people sing carols like that. It’s good that the snow was falling so hard, because the longer we sang those carols and the moment lasted, unforgettable for everyone. May Jesus be glorified in the snow, in all the ten people who drove then and in the fact that we could sing carols together.

JEZUS na ulicy #71 / Kolędowanie w samochodzie

Dwa samochody to najczęściej 10 pasażerów, To była niezwykła droga, dwóch kierowców i 8 bezdomnych, właściwie wziętych wprost z ulicy. Co się rozkładało po pięć osób, w każdym pojeździe. Jadąc śpiewaliśmy kolędy, był to okres świąteczny, a śnieg tak mocno sypał, że samochody jechały w bardzo tempie, w takim korowodzie samochodów, a wycieraczki nie nadążały zamiatać śniegu. A my śpiewaliśmy coraz mocniej kolejne kolędy. Telefon do drugiego samochodu – Co śpiewacie? co śpiewacie, bo my tutaj słyszycie nas?  Co to był za śpiew!  Jaki ścisk był w tym samochodzie, ale jaki śpiew! Jaki śpiew! Dawno nie słyszałem jak ludzie tak śpiewają kolędy. dobrze, że ten śnieg tak mocny sypał, bo tym dłużej śpiewaliśmy te kolędy i chwila trwała, niezapomniana dla wszystkich. Niech Jezus będzie uwielbiony w śniegu, w tych wszystkich osobach dziesięciu, które wtedy jechały i w tym, że mogliśmy razem śpiewać kolędy.
