Somehow I didn’t believe this person. I didn’t believe that he had changed his life, that he had truly met God at this retreat. After all, a homeless boy straight off the street went to a retreat. What proof is there that he has changed? He’s still homeless. And so I debated with God asking Him questions – See if he has changed or not?

They were questions and a one-on-one conversation, me and God. Only He heard my question marks and He knew my doubts – are you sure? Then one day an inspiration came, and I didn’t think about this boy at all, as if my doubts had quieted down a bit, and other things had grown up. I got such an inspiration – drive here and now to the other side of the city and go near the church. I thought to myself here and now to the other side of town, hm, I have to take the car, but I don’t know why? But the inspiration was so strong that I said to myself okay I’ll drive, if I don’t go then I won’t check I won’t know why God is calling me there, what He wants from me. I went there, got out of the car, went to church, and in front of the church is a shrine with the Mother of God. I look and this boy is standing in front of the statue of Our Lady and praying the rosary. I see him, I see the rosary outstretched and I froze – God arranged me in front of the church, in front of that statue. I didn’t know that this boy would be there at that very moment, I didn’t know why I was going there. My doubts and question marks were almost gone, but God did not forget about it and gave me an answer. God is indeed the Lord of Time and Place. He knows our questions and talks to us.  This encounter touched me greatly. I was reminded of the passages of Scripture.  From the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 17, Jesus says to Peter – go to the lake and cast a fishing rod and take a fish in its mouth you will find a starter. –  Or when Jesus wanted to celebrate the last supper in Mark chapter 14 and said to the disciples – Go into the city. You will be met by a man carrying a jug of water. – Jesus knew it, who they would meet.  This is how I met this boy outside the church and it touched me greatly. Jesus be glorified in that person who was there and prayed.

JEZUS na ulicy # 41 / Pojedź pod kościół a zobaczysz

Jakoś nie wierzyłam tej osobie. Nie wierzyłam, że zmieniła życie, że prawdziwe spotkała Boga na tych rekolekcjach. Przecież chłopak bezdomny wprost z ulicy pojechał na rekolekcje. Jaki jest dowód, że się zmienił? Nadal jest bezdomny. I tak dyskutowałam z Bogiem zadawałam Mu pytania – Zobacz zmienił się czy się nie zmienił?

Były to pytania i rozmowa jeden na jeden, ja i Bóg. Tylko On słyszał te moje znaki zapytania i On znał moje wątpliwości czy na pewno!? Aż przyszło pewnego razu natchnienie wtedy nie myślałam wcale o tym chłopaku, jakby to wątpliwości nieco już przycichły, narosły kolejne sprawy. Ja dostałam takie natchnienie – jedź tu i teraz na drugą stronę miasta i jedź pod kościół. Pomyślałam sobie tu i teraz na drugą stronę miasta, hm, muszę wziąć samochód, ale nie wiem, po co? Ale natchnienie było tak silne, że mówię sobie dobrze pojadę, jeśli nie pojadę to nie sprawdzę nie będę wiedziała, czemu mi tam Bóg wzywa, co ode mnie chce. Pojechałam, wysiadam z samochodu, idę do kościoła, a przed kościołem jest kapliczka z Matką Bożą. Patrzę, a ten chłopak stoi przed figurą Matki Bożej i się modli na różańcu. Widzę jego, widzę wyciągnięty różaniec i zamarłam – Bóg mnie umówił pod kościołem, pod tą figurą niejaką. Ja nie wiedziałam, że ten chłopak tam będzie akurat w tym momencie, Nie wiedziałam, po co tam jadę. Moje wątpliwości już prawie przycichły i znaki zapytania, ale Bóg o tym nie zapomniał i dał mi odpowiedź. Bóg rzeczywiście z Panem czasu i miejsca. Zna nasze znaki zapytania, rozmawia z nami.  To spotkanie bardzo mnie dotknęło. Przypomniały mi się fragmenty z Pisma Świętego.  Z Ewangelii Mateusza rozdział 17 Jezus mówi do Piotra – idź nad jezioro i zarzucić wędkę i weź rybę w pyszczku jej znajdziesz startera.  Czy kiedy Jezus chciał odprawić ostatnią wieczerzę w Ewangelii Marka rozdział 14 i powiedział do uczniów – Idźcie do miasta spotka was człowiek niosący dzban wody.  Jezus to wiedział, kogo spotkają.  Tak ja spotkałam tego chłopaka pod kościołem i bardzo mnie to dotknęło. Jezus niech będzie uwielbiony w tej osobie, która tam była i się modliła
