When you talk about God the atmosphere changes, and when you travel with Mary…well, that’s it. We are returning from a pilgrimage from Medjugorie, a community pilgrimage. We have already got off the bus in Lublin, a bag, a guitar, and I still have Mary in a large cardboard box under my arm a gift from the pilgrims. I have to get on the bus to get to Lublin. I get on. Somehow it’s hard to stand in the minibus, a lot of people. One lady says – then maybe put this cardboard box on my lap. I think to myself – as if she knows what is inside. I put this cardboard box on her lap and said – Thank you for your help, you know inside is Mary, we are just returning from Medjugorie from a pilgrimage. The lady smiled. When I get off taking Mary I say to her – May JESUS bless you – and go on.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The next day I get on the train PKP. The designated compartment. Suitcases have to be packed into the top shelf, and somewhere up there you have to give a statue of Mary on top of these suitcases, but so that it is safe. People come, sit down, set up more suitcases. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– Ooooo please watch out for this cardboard box – I say.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– And what is in it?” someone asks.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– And Mary from Medjugorie, we are just returning from her pilgrimage.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Everyone looks at each other, and someone says<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– Oh, then we are safe!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

And as if the atmosphere changes, everyone smiles differently. Everyone seems to know Mary, and it’s as if that’s how Mary actually sits with us in this compartment. It was also strange that in other compartments it was empty, and our compartment was full the whole way. It was full the whole time. People got off and got on, other compartments were empty, ours was full. It was as if everyone wanted to travel with Mary. It’s worth saying what you have in your bag, who you are carrying! Traveling with Mary is really something<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
