– They are not worth helping, let them die, it’s their choice- said the doctor in the emergency room at the hospital to two homeless people, and actually said it to me too. And what does God say? What does God say ? But let’s start from the beginning…<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

These two homeless people taken directly from the street, slept on mattresses or whatever there was right outside, also it rained for them. They went with me to the School of the Holy Spirit retreat with Maria Vadia in June. It was a three-day retreat that ended on Sunday. After that retreat, and it was a time of extraordinary joy and extraordinary work of the Holy Spirit, even though they were still living outside, really outside, they decided on Friday that they wanted to change their lives, that they didn’t want to die on the street, because the alcoholic epileptic seizures were getting worse, and they decided to live. They craved to live! They acquired a desire to live. But how to do it? They didn’t have phones one had to look for them. At eleven o’clock I left the house, I knew where they could be and went with the attitude that there was no telling what would happen. I’m on the street, enter the gate, sit on the steps and talk.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– And so? Do you want to really change life?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– Yes, we want to, we don’t want to die<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, from behind the fence, behind the garbage can, two other homeless people call out – They will not succeed anyway, they will not succeed anyway! – they call out like an owl – They won’t succeed anyway!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

And why should they fail? As they decided and we will do it together? We got in the car and the option was that we go to detox at the hospital. But first they wanted to go to pray to the Lord Jesus in the adoration chapel. They wanted that themselves. And then we went to a hospital in another town outside of Torun. Well, yes, but it was there that the doctor said – I will not accept them, they are not worth helping! They can’t manage on their own. It’s their choice! Are you stupid?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

And so we were left standing alone like this in front of the hospital, what to do next. They want to change their lives, and the hospital does not want them, because they are not worth helping, and what does God say? After all, if I drive them back with the attitude that they were treated this way, what’s more this doctor said this in front of them, and they to me – 'Do you see how they believe that we will not succeed? Did you hear what they said? No one believes in us anymore, we won’t succeed anymore! We are worthless. Like garbage’.  Do you know how they felt?  How I also felt bad, but something had to be done. I called Father Radek to the House of Mercy and said – Father is there room for them? But now, immediately, because I have nowhere to take them. And I heard on the phone – Yes, come right away. And it was quite an unplanned trip. It was supposed to be short, about 2 -3 hours, it turned out that I left home at 11 am and returned the next day at 4 am. They stayed in new places, starting a new life in a place where God lives, there is a chapel. What’s better since then, several years have passed, they are alive and well. The woman, every now and then sends me pictures of herself in her new clothes smiling, content, happy, she wants to live! The boyfriend I see sometimes too! What does God say? Is it worth it? Jesus went and looked for one lost sheep, one, and said it was worth it! What do you think? Worth it, although on the surface it looks quite different. God be glorified in all that happened in the lives of these people, in Father Radek, who helped, and in all those people who took us in by surprise and helped. And in those who did not help, that God may open their eyes and give them new life. Amen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
