Rejoice always in the Lord \/ Phil 4:4 \/. Rejoice always in the Lord. I don’t know how you understand these words, whether as true joy, when your mouth is laughing, or inner joy, or maybe both?\u00a0 When looking at you, people say – Listen this is a man smiling. Jesus himself prayed in the last prayer St. John’s Gospel chapter 17 verse 13, ” that they may have my joy in themselves in all its fullness”, \/ John 17:13 \/ As for joy, when we were on retreat with a strong team in Tarnow, a retreat of the power of the Eucharist, that’s where we prayed to the Holy Spirit. Everyone in the hall prayed for the Holy Spirit, we called on the Holy Spirit and there was full joy, somewhere sorrows went away, somewhere we felt God’s presence and joy. Someone began to laugh, one another anad another. The atmosphere changed at prayer with everyone in the hall. I started laughing so much that I couldn’t stop myself. When we finished praying to the Holy Spirit, a man came up to me and says – sister, about your laughter. I wanted to know where you were from. You were laughing so unusually that I decided to approach you. You know I have a problem – and begins to tell a completely unknown man. I look behind him and say – you know what? Then maybe we should pray for the Holy Spirit- but I look at him again and while we are talking like this he is crying. I say – you know what? We don’t need to pray for the Holy Spirit anymore. We already prayed before. First you laughed, now you are crying. I know that the Holy Spirit when we called on Him came to you too. He comes in joy, and we are to rejoice always in the Lord, and He changes our hearts.\u00a0 We are to save ourselves when we are sad and when we are joyful.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

„May God the Giver give you the fullness of joy” \/ Romans 15:13 \/ This joy then at this retreat, and the power of this joy, I felt in an extraordinary way, as did many people there. May Jesus be glorified in all those homeless people who were also with me at that retreat and in what happened there and those who hosted us. Hallelujah! A complete stranger man attending the retreat walks up because he heard the laughter and feels touched by it, and feels that he is supposed to pray, that he is supposed to tell, that he is supposed to share. And yet everyone laughed in the great hall. But God sends people, God meets them, and God touches them as He will. It was an extraordinary experience.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

 Jesus be glorified in this person and in this laughter we shared. At this retreat, I saw directly the power of God’s presence in joy through prayer for the Holy Spirit, the power of God’s joy.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
