” Go, therefore, to the parted ways and invite to the feast all whom you meet” \/ Mt 22:9<\/em>

Community Christmas Mass December 20, 2017, Wednesday 2:00 p.m. We were earlier to see this chapel in Bierzg\u0142owski Castle and this is where we wanted such a Mass, a special one – Invite whoever you want, go and invite. And so they came, people who just met, but really wanted to be together. A common Mass, there were no problems with who was to serve Mass, who would read the Word. The common prayer itself came out from among the people. Everyone felt like a family. They sang, sang hard and prayed hard. \u00a0There were old ladies, grandmothers, there were younger people, there was a boy from an orphanage and there was a homeless man with a black eye, with whom we had previously traveled to hospitals. Everyone felt the same, and there was joy.

After the mass was over, along with a pot of pea soup, a string of cars drove to one family, or rather, a company. Everyone somehow packed up and off we went. A pot of pea soup, yeast cake, someone had coffee, and this family not only received us at their home, but they wanted to receive us at the company. There is a passage in the Gospel of St. Matthew chapter 10, verse 41 – „Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet\u2019s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person\u2019s reward”.

This family seated us at the company, in the hallway. Chairs were put out, tables were put out, there was a buzz. Everyone sat down, ate, because we got a little cold in that church. We sang carols, a lot of them, shared the wafer. There was so much joy, everyone was after Mass, full of Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit. We shared as much as we could, and most of all joy.

Later there was the blessing for this company, the dedication of the whole company. Blessing by the priest. But didn’t this company receive a blessing by hosting us? By bringing us this joy? „Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet\u2019s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person\u2019s reward” \/ Matthew 10:41\/ All participants also received an angel each, which we made ourselves. With a boy in need, who was staying with us at the time, we went to the forest, collected sticks, then we pulled out pieces of curtains, and that’s how the angels for everyone were made, taken out of the suitcase. Everyone returned with an angel and with great joy in their hearts. Eucharistic community – Call whoever you want, let them come, because today we celebrate Mass, today we celebrate the Eucharist. ” Go, therefore, to the parted ways and invite to the feast all whom you meet” \/ Matthew 22:9

An unforgettable Mass and an unforgettable community of aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, everyone. May Jesus be glorified in each of these people, in those who hosted us, who stirred the pots, and who convened for this Mass.
