The Word became Flesh Gospel of St. John chapter 1 verse 14. I like to quote it when making a Christmas wish.&nbsp; I went to get food for the homeless. We are standing by the car repacking it, the car full of stuff. In a moment I will drive them to the shelter. I make a wish &#8211; I wish you that your words also become flesh, that God dwells in the midst of what you say and as you say it, that what you say becomes flesh, that God fulfills what you say.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I look at them, and they freeze. Some consternation ensues and they say &#8211; No no no no no no better not to have our words come true.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; What do you mean, you say words that you don&#8217;t want to come true?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A moment of silence, thinking &#8211; You&#8217;re right!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make the Word become flesh, God. Mine words as well. May Jesus be glorified in our words, in what you say, and what will happen to you and me. And that we may behold the glory of God, through what we will do and say, also this Christmas.
