Community prayer has power. Prayer then, when something happens, is power multiplied, because God sees hearts and our effort, our faith, our community, the power of prayer. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When a man who was homeless, after therapy walked uphill to find help, to talk, and it was already dark. He only had a flashlight in his cell phone, which gave some light. He walked uphill in the dark, among the trees, the road was steep, the hill was steep. He walked and had a problem whether he would get there. He was giving up, why go, it’s dark, he probably won’t make it, it probably doesn’t make sense, but didn’t want to give up. He calls me – I don’t know if it makes sense, to go, or not to go. I don’t know what to do. I no longer have a place to sleep, I have no money<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– Wait I call one sister – I call her and say – Sister, now one man with full determination goes uphill, he does not want to feel alone, pray for him! And she says – In our house there are 50 sisters, at the moment there are evening prayers, I will immediately give the intention. I reply – Oh that’s great I will pass it to him right away!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I call the boy and say – Listen you can imagine it is dark, but I called one nun now, turn around! Do you see there behind you 50 nuns walking up the hill with you up that hill and praying. They know that you are now walking up that mountain. They are praying at this moment, they are praying for you to go up, to not give up as you talk, to make it. They have promised me that, and I know that they certainly do. Fifty nuns are following you. You can’t give up, lad. Come on, the one of you, and 50 of them behind and you consider giving up? – Immediately he became cheerful. The man goes on, and believe me, the weather was horrible, the mood was down, the situation was quite dire. He was really in determination and did not know what to do next, where he would live, what he would eat! Is there anyone with him besides those 50 nuns and me on that phone? But he made it uphill. He made it, and to this day we still remember this story together with the nuns and with him. How the 50 nuns walked with him up the hill. I know this hill. I will tell you that it is quite a hill, but such power of community prayer is even greater. May Jesus be glorified in this man who didn’t give up and in all those sisters, in every single one of those 50 who wanted to get behind him at that moment, be glorified. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
