Ania: Wojtu\u015b we had such joy on January 1, joy and a blessing, because after Mass we got packages to bring to the poor and we went with them. It was joy and a blessing, because to be able to carry such things is God’s blessing and joy. \u00a0And what did we do?

Wojtek: We took these heavy food packages and went.

Ania: We went to the shelter and just happened to find this one boy. He got one bag and asked the other person, and the other man came. It was the man, who, before Christmas Eve, got a large amount, about 150, of wafers, to just distribute among all the shelter residents. Do you remember him telling us that?

Wojtek: He told us that he had a task just to distribute, which he set himself, that he would distribute these consecrated wafers to all the rooms there, and he distributed these wafers.

Anne: And he says he had some left and knocked on the door of the administration, that’s what he told us. That was a good thing. Because one person spoke up, but I’m a non-believer, and he says-it’s okay, it’s a consecrated wafer. One lady comes with gifts, it’s a wafer consecrated in church, and at the end of our lives we all become believers. Now it doesn’t hurt anything. And the woman took this wafer from him. This is a great story of evangelizing through a wafer. \u00a0As he told it to us and he was standing on a crutch

Wojtek: Well, yes. You were the one who immediately took the crutch in his hand, and just like one fits a knight, like a queen fits a knight, you fit him as an apostle.

Anna: Yes, and I told him – I fit you as an apostle. I don’t know where it came from, but I did fit him as an apostle, after all, he was distributing wafers. So it was an incredible joy. I don’t know where it came from as I took this crutch from him and said – Listen then after such an act of distributing so many consecrated wafers I am appointing you as an apostle. He looked at me smiled, do you remember what joy it was?

Wojtek: And how happy he was, he felt that he had become an apostle.

Anne: Yes, he looked at himself like that. It was a joy. \u00a0But to be able on the first day of the new year, although we didn’t look for it, it just came by itself…\u00a0 to be able to share food and that joy? Priceless. It’s the blessing itself, the abundance of the New Year .

Wojtek: Talking with this gentleman, it was also pleasant and full of joy.

Ania: We wish you all abundance in the New Year 2022. May JESUS bless you abundantly with his graces and pour out on you the springs of joy, love, be apostles of God’s love.
