It was God’s unusual promise that a boy would go after detox, after a two-month addiction therapy, to a new place in the south of Poland with no money, and there he would find a job and an apartment, and pick up a book of poetry. Complete madness, but if God speaks, you have to listen to Him. I believed and the boy believed.\u00a0 When he finished his therapy, I took him by car to the hospital and drove him to the railway station. He was packed, he got a volume of poetry, sandwiches, I bought a train ticket and accommodation for 3 days. Got on the train in the morning, was there in the evening. A new area, new people, new meetings, but also the search for work began, because if God gives a promise, you have to do something on your part. And we started making phone calls. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, we were looking for a job, constantly looking for a job. Phone call after phone call, and still no job.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

But after all, God promised. He always fulfills his promises, after all, he is not like a man who would lie. His word is faithful. Every time it falls, it bears fruit. And what happens? The situation was very dire, it was Friday, the boy had no money. Someone gave 100 zloty and said go back where you came from. So what were we supposed to do? The boy was already standing outside with his bag and there was a decision to go back, but he had nowhere to go back to, no home where he could be accepted to start a new life. Here he was to take new steps, after all God had promised. Or he could stay, but stay and what next? I sat down in front of the computer, I looked at all the phones I had called, I looked at them, I read the Scriptures, after all, God promised, he is not like a man to lie. What to do? The situation was stressful, I even started to look for places to stay at the hostel, after all, we have to do something, make a decision.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

But when I read those words again – „God is not like a man to lie, not like a son of man to retract. Will He say something, and not do it, or perform what He has declared?”\/Leb 23:19\/ And my heart trembled, after all God had promised. I believed God, and the boy believed me. After I went through this process of believing again, I call him and say:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– No, God promised us, stay where you are. You have that hundred, on Monday you will find a job. God has promised, it will happen!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When I put the phone down, in a moment the boy called me back.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– What happened?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

–  I have amazing news. Someone called back at 10:00 p.m. that I was starting a job starting Monday.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

 So that was the news at a time when there was nothing left, and we had made up our minds that this was going to come true, that God was faithful, that’s when that phone call came. that he had a job starting Monday. Immediately the farmhouse was found. An extremely kind lady whose husband came, took his bag, gave food, a place to sleep so that the boy could start his new life from Monday. God was faithful to what He had promised. He did it. It has been 20 months since that moment. We talked today. The boys are soccer fans.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– I’d like to stand in Barcelona’s stadium.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Maybe in that stadium, maybe in another place, we’ll shout, we’ll sing about what God did in his life, how He led him, how he can enjoy life, love, but also how God is faithful to what He promised us.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

May Jesus be glorified in our weakness, in the trials we go through, in that he strengthens us, in that he shows us what to do, in that he is always faithful in what he says and promises.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

And from the ad we found the best possible team to work with. Such crews, such men who work and don’t drink are probably hard to find from an ad, by complete chance. I think that these people were not random either, that God chose these people for this time to support the man, to talk to him. It was not just a job.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Everything happened in 3 days, according to God’s promise – we found a job, an apartment and an extraordinary team for him to work with. Everything from God, as He promised. He is great, the greatest. The best DAD.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
