You can tell they are homeless. They are sitting, basking in the sun. You can see by them they have nowhere to go, I look at the pigeons, they are waiting. You can see from them addicts. They sit on the benches. At the seminary, a retreat is going on inside. We go out for a break to the grocery store right next door, across from this square. Conversation &#8211; do you want to pray? I want to.&nbsp; So here we go. We pray for the Holy Spirit, and why don&#8217;t we start with the simplest prayer you probably know &#8211; the Our Father?&nbsp; Good! Here we go. The man says &#8211; Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we do&#8230;and the end. He stops, stiffens, tears flow from his eyes, looks and says &#8211; I can&#8217;t do it, I won&#8217;t say any more, I won&#8217;t forgive her. I won&#8217;t be able to say the Our Father any more.&nbsp; I have not prayed for a long time, I will not say these words.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">And so we stood in prayer, it was clear that he was experiencing the content of the prayer, that he was truly praying and that he was truly unable to go on. Right next to that bench I came several times &#8211; Can&#8217;t make it?&nbsp; Let&#8217;s talk maybe tomorrow?&nbsp; The retreat lasted 3 days. The next day, after talking about forgiveness, we prayed the Our Father and we all felt relief and joy.
