After evening Mass I went to the street to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy on the streets of the world’s cities, a good day to pray in the street. I was in one of the city squares, somewhat covered, surrounded by walls. A good place to go to drink alcohol, hangout, spend the night, talk.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I went to such a place and the prayer to the Holy Spirit began<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

– Come Holy Spirit come to this place, come to us, come to all the people who are here.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

 And at that moment an extraordinary thing happened. These people, who were so far away that I think they did not even hear the prayer, they could not hear it, suddenly started to run, at the moment when the word came – Come Holy Spirit – they started to run, they started to call I want prayer too, pray for me, I want prayer too. Some of them started to run: 'I’m going to get my friend, I’m going to get my friend behind the fence, behind these walls, wait!’<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It was an extraordinary moment, when we all prayed together. These people were later given pictures – Jesus I trust in you.  They started kissing them, they started telling stories and they started meeting in groups. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I prayed over two people at that time, again later, who really wanted to change their lives, who wanted to talk. I still have contact with these people today because they were homeless at the time, and four years later we are still in contact.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I must admit that I have not seen such a hunger for God as I felt at that time looking at those people and participating in that prayer. I wonder if I had stood in one of the other squares and simply started to pray – Come Holy Spirit – what would have been the reaction of the people sitting, passing by.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

How hungry would they be for God, how much would they respond and ask for prayer? I confess that I have not experienced such a hunger for God and it is an unusual feeling. May this hunger for God never leave me either, and those who read this testimony, and those I met then. It is a wonderful feeling.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

May Jesus be glorified in what happened then, around 8 p.m. on the Day of the Chaplet in the Streets of the World’s Cities. Such a spark went right through that square.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
